1st time I've taken my 8 year old grandson fishing and what a pleasure it was, set our rods up put the kettle on only to hear I've got a fish on first cast for him I thought here we go he played the trout reeling in but asked me to net it for him. Had our cuppa and a natter I caught 3 then he caught his 2 fish limit. Packed up and all the way home it was when can we go next lol, we both caught on worm on the lead casting around 7 meters out but we did have the mild slight wind blowing into our corner. All in all a great day's fishing look out next week.

Float fished meat 9chub between 4and 5lb lots of smaller chub as well. There is no parking in the tree line as the instructions provided advise the land owner has put up an electric fence around the field . So only 2parking spaces available. You can not wade in this stretch the river was ia low of 0.5 mtr so not what the wright up says at all . It’s overgrown some pegs need attention. Fishing is good tho.
