River too low

Fished off the boat on Fri 8th of July we had plenty of fish on the dries up the top end of the reservoir including some lovely wild browns up to 2lb. All fish returned. Conditions were 10mph NW and bright sunshine all day.

Very low water and a hot day. However, did quite a bit of sitting and looking and saw some lovely trout (one about 5lb plus) and also a huge shoal of shad in about a foot of water and curiously they were directly under the power lines...??? I last fished here about 20 years ago and I couldn't believe how much the course of the river had changed since then. Anyway, it was a lovely day.

5lb = Perch fry imitation, and parachute Adams= 1.5lb

Another lovely day on the boat plenty of fish caught including some lovely browns. All fish caught up the top end of the lake and all on the dries.

First time to venue water very low and not many swims but Mark caught 3 barbei,10 chub,Steve caught 11 chub and Neil caught 1 barbel and 5 chub so had a very good day.
