The Brecon webcam gauge was at 1.5 and the water pretty clear. A fairly sparse hatch of LDOs had a few fish rising. They were very picky and took some emergers. The hatch stopped pretty quickly and most fish were taken on spiders after that. A lovely day on the river.

Fished the Usk opening day. Used fly, mainly black & green lures. Caught 5 rainbows around pound & a quarter. Started flat calm & warm, wind picked up with some rain in the afternoon.
