Very low water and a hot day. However, did quite a bit of sitting and looking and saw some lovely trout (one about 5lb plus) and also a huge shoal of shad in about a foot of water and curiously they were directly under the power lines...??? I last fished here about 20 years ago and I couldn't believe how much the course of the river had changed since then. Anyway, it was a lovely day.

First time to venue water very low and not many swims but Mark caught 3 barbei,10 chub,Steve caught 11 chub and Neil caught 1 barbel and 5 chub so had a very good day.

First time as an Angling Dreams member. Stunning river but very very low. Could see right across river to the bottom. Needs another foot or two on I think to get the fish feeding. That’s my excuse anyway????????
