At last a bit of water - maybe too much - 0.83 on the Ross gauge and very coloured....tried mainly in maddox and vanstone. did see a fish but couldn't get a take. did meet Mick the ghillie who was very friendly and informative.

Fished hard all day, a few fish seen and one fish was ‘bumped off’ . Various flies tried all day. Alas was not to be but beautiful water to spend the day on.

Quite a clean Hen fish around 10lb from the Rock pool. Wet cell 2 and 1.5 inch black and red copper .River carrying quite a bit of colour and falling . Fish went off strongly when returned.
