2 Barbel, 6 Chub

Brilliant day. Worked hard for the fish but kept them ticking.
One angler, bait and wait tactics scored 19 chub and 2 barbel.
Second angler, rotated multiple swims resulting in 7 barbel and 7 chub.
Well maintained as always.

Hard day today. Worked the swim but no barbel to be seen.

Water quite low, very clear. Started at 7am. Overcast and cool to start with becoming clearer and warmer as morning progressed. Caught 1 x WBT on an EHC dry with orange body. Missed one other on a medium olive dry. Nothing else moved in a 7 hr session. Beautiful stretch of river with loads to explore.

Feeder fished pellets but only limited success, as we have not fished the water before this was more than likely down to us rather than any problems with the water

No fish but had a wonderful day in stunning surroundings, we will be back!

Perfect day with disappointing returns. Two rods fishing with only one catching. 5 chub with best at approx 5 lbs.
