Very exciting fishing. Feeding heavy with pellet and ground-bait balls. Feeder with pellets

Fished 6am to 10.30am - lost a barbel early doors and then had series of chub up to around 4.8

2 trout caught on a dry but over cast day. 2 other bites but didn't land them

Much slower than yesterday.

A hard day of fishing. Very little sign of fish at the surface. A brisk wind made it hard to cast. Nice location though.

Walked up hill to back of wood. Decided getting to swims in wood was too precarious with gear for three oaps! Continued downstream and found no swims. Back to fishing hut and fished either side with pellet and luncheon meat after recovering. Being a footpath, dogs and swimmers a real problem but fish obliging.
