Float fished sweet corn - conditions overcast, light breeze and the odd shower. All wildies one of which was a first ever for my daughter. Happy days are made of this type of fishing.

Water level really low , the access to the banks is almost impossible due to the nearby barbed wire, with high levels it can be very dangerous to fish, having no access other than along the river ,many fry which means the river is in good health, very few trout of size, but before expressing a serious opinion I will have to go fishing again next spring

A couple of hours on the Edw with AP. Water cool and shaded, a tad low but fishable. Plenty of fish 5 to 11 inches. One surprise monster of 15 inches on virtually the last cast! Brilliant stream.

Fished from 8.30 til 13.00.
Hot and bright again. And i forgot my cap.
Absolutely nothing below the footbridge. I think someone else had been through earlier. Presumably someone fishing th right bank beat, couple of still wet footprints in the shady spots.
Hooked and lost one just under the bridge, then managed a trout parr from under the tree that straddles the whole river.
Nothing seen until the top of the beat where I managed another small trout in the faster run below the Escley pool.
Had a quick look above the bridge, beat map shows some right bank fishing is available. Didn't fish, but found a fresh campfire. ? Wild campers.

Absolutely zero fish surfacing for food. I imagine it is to do with the 30 degrees Celsius that it was on the day.
