Neither fish taken, too small unfortunately!

I caught 3 rainbow trout on worm and my dad caught 3 rainbow also on worm

Hot day on a clear river but fish were in the mood to play . Grayling to 1lb and trout all about half pound.

Hard day fishing caught 2 fishing worm and Mep not a lot of fish showing but happy i caught 2

Only fished the lower section as had to travel home.

Lots of fishy spots but not much showing. Fished dries all morning.

Very overgrown and very difficult to navigate in sections. Upper section above weir may be easier.

Great spot other was an eel all caught on feeder and pellet and meat also lot 6 Barbel

Used dry flys. Generally a sunny day with some cloud. No fish taken and only saw small fry. Tried the Castle Meadows side - plenty of dog walkers and families around with both dogs and children playing in the river. We tried the other side of the river by parking on the layby on the A465 but we couldn't find the stile which either doesn't exist or is hidden by the undergrowth - there was just a fence topped with barbed wire so don't bother trying to access the river this way.

Hot and sunny day river level low 5 chub caught late on in the day all on meat the other was an eel.
