Conditions seemed better than yesterday, but he fishing was tough with the odd bite coming throughout the day

Perfect day. All taken on a dry

Caught 12 in total but only 6 were a reasonable size. The rest were "tiddlers". Bright and sunny day with a swirling wind making casting difficult. 4 decent fish caught on the north bank on the eastern side in and around the rocks after the shallows and into the deeper area. Traditional wets - Bibio, Machair claret and claret cruncher took the fish on a 3 fly set up about 18ft leader. Wind changed and got fed up hauling into wind so switched to southern bank. Had the rest of the fish on the move down the bank up to the power station pump house. Mostly around the rocks retrieving back over the drop off. Good hard fighting fish and a good afternoon out.

Lovely 4 days fishing plenty of bites on nymphs river very low on last day and hot

No fish caught as I spent my time receiving casting instruction rather than attempting to catch trout. I did however see some trout rising for the yellow mayflies that were emerging.
