No sign of fish, none caught did see a Kingfisher though. River in good condition which made blanking all the more disappointing. Tried NZ style nymphing, sinking beaded nymphs and wet fly tactics, no tugs or pulls felt at all.
Worth noting that one of the access gates to the upper stretch is padlocked. Why is this? Climbing over is therefore necessary.
Worth noting, wading is very treacherous, take care.

Water level was very low and warm, sunny conditions weren't ideal for fly fishing but I did manage to land one Rainbow to an olive damsel at the top end of the reservoir.
