Hard day fished bottom field couldnt be bothered walking nice to see some eels

Unable to fish - very disappointing.
River was extremely low and all the swims in the meadow were impossible, so far away from the river you would have needed a 50 foot landing net handle or a drop net to reach the water if you caught a fish.
The very steep drop down wet slippery rocks in the wood swims were too dangerous for us even with a dog spike and rope.
Fine when the river is up but in those conditions total waste of time and money !

9lb fresh hen salmon, small Usk grub, cockpit beat Upper Bigsweir. 9am this morning

Also 8lbs fresh salmon on small Allie shrimp fly, September 16th, Little run Upper Bigsweir.

Good day on the Lugg fishing EuroNymph method. All fish taken in the deeper pools and even had a double hook up on on one of the runs. Rained from the start but it did not put off the fish. Very pleased

We were washed of due to the rain overnight so didn’t fish at all.

3 carp between 11 lb 9 oz and 14lb 2oz. Beautiful lake.
