Drew a blank on Thursday plenty of fish movement but not feeding, saw an Otter serface twice may be why no fish.
Bit of a disapointing day , started off full of enthusiasm, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Fished this beat in the morning and Dinas in the afternoon. A tough day with four trout caught in total (two from Abercynrig). Three to a PTN and one on a deer hair emerger. Colder than expected with a brief sporadic hatch mid-afternoon. A beautiful part of the Usk.

Fished Abercynrig in the morning and Dinas pm. It was a tough day with little showing until a short mid-afternoon hatch. Two trout (one nymph one dry) and a lovely part of the Usk to spend a day. Thanks to fellow angler Ian for the photograph.

All caught on a fly. No fish taken as they were only small.
