Quite pleased given low level and lack of flow. Caught from top and bottom of beat. All fish caught on boilies. Little canoe traffic today, which is nice.

I was there hoping for a barbel but unfortunately I didn't manage anything other than the 4 small chub.

Fished with two other members of Gwent Angling Society (see returrn from AP from Newport) all trying a bit of mountain llyn therapy to help us to cope with the loss of the entire fish population on our two beats on the Afon Llynfi last weekend for the second time in four years. Five kilometres of river now denuded of fish and clear invertebrate damage as well. Polluters need to pay and not the derisory sums they so often get away with. Loved AP's coffee! A couple of smaller chub on luncheon meat and a 6.10lbs barbel and a 4.09lbs chub on squid, octopus & krill boilies.

Lovely morning. River very low. Not many knocks and no barbel. Will wait till the rains come to freshen up the Wye for my next visit.

Tough Conditions, water very low and slow. Beautiful beat and thank you to the owners for keeping it in such great condition. Lots of swims to choose from, we tried nearly all swims but couldnt find any any feeding fish.
