Clear water and bright sun all day. 1 x Grayling (3/4 lb) taken on middle section at 11.30am using large green nymph. Many small fish seen rising in lower section in the afternoon.

Fishing Passport online booking service very easy to use and lots of excellent local information provided via email. Wonderful days fishing . Will definitely return to this beat. Large salmon (est 6-8lb) seen jumping in lower pool in afternoon.

A tough day, with bright skies and keen northerly wind. Very little surface action. But when fish came along, they were decent - 3lb the biggest, with another of 2lb. The others from 1lb 8oz to 3/4lb. Fishing in and around the weed beds with careful wading (bottom is soft) will catch fish here.

River low and clear. Weather bright, sunny and freezing cold Northerly wind. Highly conducive to staying in bed and not fishing but tried all the same to no avail. Foul hooked a minnow up the bottom and watched a motionless tip for about 4 hours in 3 different swims before retiring to warmer areas.
