One 11" trout caught on a size 16 weighted PNT, and a few small trout. water levels low, but an enjoyable challenge. |I found a few deep pools, but lots are inaccessable because of over hanging trees. Good to see lots of trout fry (or salmon?)

Disappointing lack of available pegs, I counted 4 , 3 near the top of the length and 1 at the rope pool. Not much choice when 3 of us were fishing. 1 rod caught 4 barbel near the top including 3 in successive casts and another barbel came from the rope pool. The river had an algal bloom and was a dirty brown colour.

Bad day for spinning, just 2 fish(1 brownie returned), fish were taking from the top, fly rod way to go, guy next to me using fly cought 3 time more. Good experience anyway.

Legering with meat, the river has good colour, the levels are on the low side slightly
