Really difficult going after getting the car stuck on the track.
The river as I’d expected after the rain the night before was belting through. Despite trying for the first three hours it just got worse and I was forced to leave with the amount of debris coming down the river even in the margins. Just wasn’t meant to be

Only one rainbow-trout was caught today around 9 am. I was using a spinner size 2 with red body and silver medal.

River very high, dropped 6 inches through the day. Spent a while trying to find a slack area as the river was pushing through so much. Finally we caught from about 5pm on pellet. Sunny enjoyable day but very hard fishing.

River very high only able to fish two pegs on Legg Meadow. Had two takes lost both fish

cold overnight temps and blowing a gale...all chub landed on meat.

The only fish of the day was a rainbow-trout caught at 08:30 am using a spinner size 2 colour black with single hook.

River level ok. Water temperature only 6c. Only one bite recorded. Blustery day. Nothing caught.
