No fish but a lovely day spent in beautiful surroundings. Thanks to Wye and Usk for getting the rights to fish such a beautiful pool, I'll be back.

First time here. As to be expected, getting a little overgrown in places but very beautiful. River low but with a tinge of colour. Big hatches of Olives of various sorts and the off mayfly but not huge numbers. Stuck with dry fly all day. Fish to 12 inches on Adams para, olive emergers and mayfly patterns.

A bright and warm day with low water conditions. 1 small trout taken from be tween the weeds. Probably the only one that didn't see me coming!!

Water low and very little sign of sign at the surface. Still a pleasant day out.

Worm on float (2), toby spinner (2). Several people arrived at around 6.30pm (after 2nd visit by bailiffs) with no permits & started fishing.

Two fish hooked and lost. I don't mind not netting fish on this beat as I really enjoy stalking and observing the big fish that are up here, that's what I have to say to stop me going mad.

Hard going but probably down to our inexperience....lovely stretch ...missed a few on olives ... look forward to giving it another go ...locals say it's quite low at the moment..
