Seven Sisters syndicate member reported a 14lbs sea liced fish spinning.

1 Salmon

No salmon caught and only one seen. There was a 15lb oos pike caught on fly. River condition was good and Mick was very helpful. Best wishes.

2 trout both around 8", both took the top dropper, a partridge and orange spider and a small pt nymph. A good first outing and a wee bit rusty being my excuse for not catching a few more as fish were moving during the LDO hatch around midday.

Late start only the one fish but what a cracker - 19/20" on dry fly. Plenty of fish rising later to march browns, but in low clear water hard to get to.

Nice sunny day. Used worm with a white poly ball to bring the worm off the floor. Not many others in my general area caught either. I saw maybe 5 or 6.

Bright blue sky and very sunny, water low and clear. Some flurries of LDO but no March browns today. Some rising fish but rises were sporadic and artificials generally ignored. 2 trout, the biggest a pound and a quarter.

My first attempt at fly fishing and I didn't catch anything. Sunny day with a breeze from the south west. Couple of hatches during the afternoon with trout topping but out in the middle of the reservoir. Lots of small fish, up to an inch long, in the margins.
Difficult to fish due to the vegetation and steepness of the banks but it is all a learning curve.
I'm sure I'll be back at some point and hope to at least get a bite next time!
