Lots of canoes today, carried on the same tactics as previous day, pellet and feeder. Not too many fish but an enjoyable day.

1 Barbel, 4 Chub

An early misty start broken by a noisy arrival of 3 fisherman who were dropped off in a transit van opposite the wooded area and commenced fishing, was not long before they were into Barbel.
JY and I started at the upper end of the beat, nothing at all so moved down to the lower section for the afternoon, a lot more successful, 6 barbel, 5 chub and a sea trout all taken on pellet.
A stunning stretch of the river and will definitely try to head back again in the future.

1 Sea Trout, 6 Barbel, 5 Chub

Sadly had to cut my day short, so no catch.

Fished 4pm to 7pm, best barbel 8.02 on 2x10mm boilies. Thanks to all at wuf.

4 Barbel, 2 Chub

No sign of salmon all day, the water was very clear.

6 x grayling 10-14 inches, 2 x trout 10-11 inches, Tungsten Hare's Ear and Pink Shrimp. The Arrow is also getting rather low. No insect life about except water measurers and no rising fish, so weighted nymphs through the deep dubs were the order of the day. And an interesting temperature swing: 6 degrees and fog on the drive from home rising to 21 degrees after lunch. Ate my sandwiches when I reached the top and pretty well fell asleep under the autumn sun propped up against a fence post in the grassy parking lot. Who wouldn't enjoy a morning on Court of Noke?

2 Trout, 6 Grayling

7lbs hen, size 12 Bann shrimp, Middle Caban and 10lbs cock, 3" Sunray, Stepping Stones. Both in full colour but they still put up a good tussle.

2 Salmon, 6 Trout, 1 Chub

Second day on the Fishery, learnt again not to fish the same swims. Another very hot clear day. Because of limited swims we decided to only fish the morning. River is low, needs a flush through. Only 1 Barbel and 4 Chub to feeder method on Pellet. Thanks to the Wye and Usk for four days great fishing.

Water clear with some fish rising in the late afternoon above the bridge. Used wet & dry small river patterns but no takes.
