Unfortunately a blank for 2 anglers. Fished upstream section trying 4 or 5 swims. Tried variety of boilies, pellets and meat. Not even a chub. Were a couple of Otters active though. Bailiff Stefan thought these were the problem. Shame as looked great stretch with good access and roped pegs etc. Be prepared to lose some gear in last peg upstream as very snaggy.

Conditions a bit different from last week. Overcast with an occasional upstream breeze. Decided to give the French leader a go today. Found grayling, but only small Shotts. Landed 8 on a ptn pattern fished deep.
