Beautiful secluded fishing. Spent an hour or so and had 2 trout to 10inches on a size 20 klinkhammer. Access and casting are both very difficult but well worth the effort required.

Beat:Usk Reservoir

Fishing:Trout (Stillwater)

Fished both banks from 9am until 3.30pm on both fly and spinner but only caught one 2lb rainbow between both of us. A disappointing day in a favourite location. How often is this water stocked?

I could only spend the morning fishing unfortunately. Two trout seen at the start of the beat but alas nothing in the net. Water level low and clear with wind picking up later in the morning. Have booked a three day ticket so will try again tomorrow!
