River looked OK but may have been a bit low and clear for the Barbel as we struggled to find them. Fished from dawn until dark in a number of swims along the full length of the beat and managed a total of four Barbel and three big Chubb between us. Pellet fished with Feeder or lead was our method, feeding with hemp and pellet. Beautiful scenery but some of the banks are steep and dangerous in the wet. Good access if you have a 4 wheel drive, you need to be fit if you don't and take a torch for the walk back. Stan was very helpful and bless him for putting in the stone for parking on in the field. Many Thanks to W&U for access to our favorite river.
