1 trout caught on a PTN. river looked in good condition. rained all afternoon.

Poor weather condition. Nil caught.

Fly fishing for Salmon. No fish caught or seen. Lovely beat. Will be back. DR

15lb salmon caught mid afternoon from below Legg meadow crib. Water looking perfect no fish seen.

Hooked one on very first cast (in neck of Smoke House Pool), at rod tip, which fell off almost immediately and that, sadly, was that.

Lovely fly water and Don really helpful. Felt I was in with a chance but nothing seen or touched.

The river looked great but did not see any salmon all day, except for the kelt I had from the lower end of the beat. Also had two WBT and on the 3rd cast of the day a seatrout of around 2.5 lbs. Good day all the same and nice that it was a bit warmer.

Good to return to this beat, but though the river was in good condition, no fish seen and nothing caught

River in good condition. 1 grayling 1 1/2 lbs safely returned. Czech nymph. Afternoon only.

Weather was worst than I had hoped for, overcast with squally showers and also pretty cold. The river was low and pretty clear.
When I started at 1130 there was no sign of fly life or rising fish. As the day progressed a light trickle of LDO came off with the odd March Brown. A couple of fish began rising.
Caught a couple of rising fish on Orange and Partridge fished downstream and allowed to dead drift over the fish. Apart from that pretty hard work
