Good day went cold but all ok

Both blanked.

2 lads had set up a spinning rod just below the aqueduct, but stopped fishing when I challenged them.

Very windy fish fast and fighting many more missed than caught

Fished for 10 hrs .Did not see or make contact with any salmon river carrying a fair amount of colour visibility about 2.5 ft.

Caught plenty and missed or dropped lots more, all off the top on various patterns, anything resembling food.

First fish on the first cast, after that it was harder work with a gusty wind. Fish taken on nymphs and a couple on dries in the sheltered bays.

Conditions were good but no fish seen or caught.
