Slow fishing, started at the lower end but didn't have a bite. Moved up to the top end around 2pm, lost a rig in a snag and on second cast within 5 minutes hooked in to a nice looking 5lb barbel. Only fish of the day but still a great day out - thanks WUF.

After a slow start with lots weed coming down stream, ended up with 2 chub and 8 barbel good days fishing, thank you very much.

Met Ian at the Boat Inn as arranged, started fishing on beat 3 - river was steaming through. Difficult to hold bottom so we moved to beat 5, my son had 3 chub from 2 to 4lbs I had one 3lb - no barbel. Great day many thanks to Ian for his help.

I did not catch any grayling but had three trout to approximately 12 ozs. Obviously, these were returned. The beat is absolutely terrific and I would not hesitate to return - for another attempt at grayling or, in season, for trout. The three trout I caught were all in good condition and the average size very good by wild trout standards. I think the Foundation is a great concept and I look forward to trying some other beats.

The overnight rain caused the river level to rise but it was deemed fishable and three of the four booked rods caught a number of grayling and a few out-of-season trout. Grayling ranged in size from 30cm to one beautiful fish at c. 45cm.

Arrived at the river to find it running clear and two feet down from my last visit. 1 chub and 1 barbel by 1230hrs, nothing else until arouind 1630hrs then 3 more barbel, best one going to 9lbs. A great day out, thanks

Arrived to find the river some 3 ft higher than we expected. Trotting for grayling and dace proved hard work. We caught a few small dace, several trout and one small grayling. Mid morning Stephen Marsh-Smith appeared and kindly suggested we try the beat below (llanstephan), where there was slower water. Managed a few more dace and one good out of season trout but the better fish did not want to play. River continued to get more coloured and we packed in around three. Will be back for the bigger grayling that we know are in the beat from previous visits.

No Grayling, however lots of coarse fish (mainly dace). Good day and managed to beat the rain.

Two rods caught 3 barbel and 10 chub mainly on pellet. Thank you to Colin for your help and guidance once again.

Good day had, caught 8 chub all over 5lb. Caught on red robbin pellet. Few salmon showing on the beat. Definitely comming back.
