Saharan day, one of the hottest of the year. Very hot and bright and water levels predictably low.
Fished the middle section of the beat using all methods and baits without a knock.
Moved to the bottom island section at lunchtime where all the chub were holed up.
Caught on both float and feeder. Meat and pellet. Could have continued and doubled the number but conditions got the better of us.
