Arrived just after 9am with the mist still in the valley. Started at the bottom of the beat and worked my way up slowly searching the deeper runs euro nymphing. In the first gutter had a few tentative pulls but nothing stuck. The sun broke though so turned a few rocks and noted a few peeping caddis and small black nymphs. So switched to a green peeping caddis in the point and black and pink PTN on the dropper. Within a few cast had my first. Then the sport then continued from there.
Most fish taken from the deeper runs with a few missed along the way to the top of the beat. Packed up at 15:00. A great day.

3 Trout, 4 Grayling

Water low, stream almost dried up, stream channel exposed. No fish seen rising at that end. A few rises towards the middle of the reservoir.

Fly fishing, No fish caught. Water way too warm

Extremely hot day and it was our first day after travelling down early morning, so really wasn’t a bad days fishing. All fish caught feeder fishing pellet or boilie.

3 Barbel, 14 Chub

Very warm, low water, small trout but escaped!

I fished from 7am to 1pm trotting meat and had 8 chub all a decent size between 3lb and 5lb, I did do a hour on the bottom and had 3 big eels around the 2lb mark, unfortunately no barbel, the river is very low and clear and the bites did slow up a bit as soon as the sun got above the trees.

Not even a bite,very warm day fish just wasn't feeding

We fished beat 2 on the beach and caught 3 barbel to 5lb and 15-20 chub to 2lb on pellet and meat. Very hot day so happy with what we managed to land. A lot of canoe traffic from 11 am throughout the day.
