Three rainbow trout caught on worm between 3 anglers. Didn't have a bite all morning then three within an hour or so from 1.30pm then nothing the rest of the day. Packed up around 5pm. Enjoyable day though.

River at the perfect level, started with a team of spiders - moved nothing. Despite no fish rising I switched to dry fly and caught two fish in the first five minutes - the biggest being a pound and a half trout. Later caught a couple of grayling.
Lovely beat.
