Arrived just after 9am with the mist still in the valley. Started at the bottom of the beat and worked my way up slowly searching the deeper runs euro nymphing. In the first gutter had a few tentative pulls but nothing stuck. The sun broke though so turned a few rocks and noted a few peeping caddis and small black nymphs. So switched to a green peeping caddis in the point and black and pink PTN on the dropper. Within a few cast had my first. Then the sport then continued from there.
Most fish taken from the deeper runs with a few missed along the way to the top of the beat. Packed up at 15:00. A great day.

Water low, stream almost dried up, stream channel exposed. No fish seen rising at that end. A few rises towards the middle of the reservoir.

Fly fishing, No fish caught. Water way too warm

Extremely hot day and it was our first day after travelling down early morning, so really wasn’t a bad days fishing. All fish caught feeder fishing pellet or boilie.
