Information

Tucked away in amongst the rolling countryside of Herefordshire and high up in the Welsh mountains are a number of relatively untouched ponds and small lakes. These are the polar opposite to the commercial fisheries - there are no gravel paths, portaloos or burger vans. They offer anglers the chance to catch wild or older strains of carp, crucians, tench and various other coarse species in as close to their natural environment as possible.

Most of the Hidden Lakes are only known about by a few local anglers, who usually want to keep it that way!
