Approx. 1 mile of single, left bank fishing with 20 to 25 swims, some of which have ropes aiding access to the river. A superbly maintained stretch of the river Teme approx. 8 miles west of Worcester close to Knightwick bridge with secure off road riverside parking. If conditions allow, there is vehicle access along the length of the beat to drop off kit. There is a 2 strand barbed wire fence by the river to restrict livestock but there are plastic sleeves close to the swim locations to aid access. The field is permanent grass and generally gets cut for hay/silage after the 1st July, after which it is grazed either by cattle or sheep. The parking area is fenced off from livestock but do not leave you vehicle unattended in the field if dropping off kit, cattle can and do cause damage.
The beat holds a good head of barbel but all of the usual coarse species are present in addition to trout, grayling and salmon.
Overnight camping is permitted by prior arrangement for anglers fishing more than 1 day. (No night fishing permitted – you may fish dawn until dusk). To arrange camping, email havenfishery@aol.com or phone 07788669907.
