River very high from recent rain, caught nothing. Overgrown stretch which actually appeals to me i may be back in summer

Plenty of water and clearing, no huge fish but lots of action. A lovely beat.

River came up a mtr overnight which made the fishing a challenge couldn't get to the bend as it was over its banks. Had to fish the higher bank near the croys. Started to drop as the day progressed

Wow what a day. We caught the river rising from 0.7 to 0.9 and conditions were perfect. 24 barbel between us all with one angler having 12. Fished the whole stretch and apart from the hot sunny period between 12 and 3pm we had action regularly through the day. Barbel were all above 5Ib with biggest going 9Ib 8oz.

Groundbait feeders with pellet and boilies doing the business. Thank you WUF for a great stretch.

River running very fast with lots of weed following the rain. River was falling and really good colour. Bolt rig with 2nr 14mm Halibut pellets

River had come up 3ft overnight but was dropping as the day went on,this made for difficult fishing conditions. Couldn't get to the bend as it was over the bank. Fished on the high bank between the cross. Hard work but enjoyable.
