River high and I suspect rising further with the amount of rain today, high winds too. Barbel up to 3 1/2 lbs and the other was a dace. Fish caught off Upper and Lower Sallys. Tough day weatherwise that curtailed the amount of hours.

Fast flow so tricky. Barbel on a variety of baits; meat, pellet and sweetcorn. Fish were mainly on the run below the upper pool. Lost 3 good fish in the upper pool.

Storm Antoni didn’t provide the lift that I was hoping for after turning up at 1.00. Same river level at dusk.
The river had cleared for a fly to be fished through most pools but no salmon seen.
