Fished Double Peg with Brett Richardson - who landed 4 Barbel @ 7.00, 6.15, 6.30, 5.30

Total peg catch was 6 Barbel.

After fishing the beat previously we had an idea of the beat. Rods in the water for 10.30 due to the drive down, rod bent over after 15 mins with a 9lb 6 oz barbel. This quickly followed by a 7lb. Then had an hour of nothing, between 12 and 2 we had 4 more barbel, 6.6, 6.3,6.15 and a 5.3. Very productive day, fishing the cow drink peg, just on the crease. All fish fell to hinders barbel bomb with added pellet and hemp in the feeder. Scopex squid boilie hook bait.

nothing caught or seen on what for me is good travelling water. Nice to be out with the fly rod

Dreadful conditions. I swear the wind was blowing from two directions simultaneously! No sign of fish. Blanked.

River dropping but still pushing through. 4 barbel landed an a couple lost. Swim choice limited by water levels.

Terrible day of fishing on Wyebank. River had over 3ft of water on. Limited options for pegs to fish. Avoid if you are not agile as banks are very steep and slippery when wet. Most chub caught on float fished meat. As other people have said, this stretch is a tackle graveyard, make sure you have plenty of spares with you. Unfortunately we have got this stretch booked again tomorrow ????

Great day fishing on the Wye - 4 anglers caught 22 barbel from 4 pegs, one peg giving up 12 barbel . Barbel ranged from 6 - 9.5 LB with an average around 7.5lb. Conditions were perfect with overcast skies and chocolate brown waters. River pushing through following heavy rain upstream earlier in the weeks - level dropped 2ft throughout the day.
