A really lovely wild stream with some surprisingly deep pockets. There was a trickle of olives and mays coming off and risers in the glides which required a stealthy approach. There were bigger fish sitting in the pools that could be caught with a heavy enough nymph.

The two of us blanked again. Didn't see any fish rising anywhere on the lake and there is a serious build up of slimy green weed.
Once again had to put in the number 1 for fish caught because this stupid system won't accept zero !

The water level was very low and a chilly wind was blowing upstream. I caught one trout on a dry fly and one on a wet fly. Hardly no activities between 1.30 pm and 5 pm.
