Heavy overnight / early morning rain pushed water level up 2 to 3 feet, which made for difficult fishing. No barbel but the chub made it a resonable day.

Fishing:Winter Grayling

No. of Anglers:1

2 x grayling 6-12 inches, 9 x out of season trout 6-16 inches, trotting. River running high and clear - but blessed if I could find any grayling of size. I had to keep moving due to unwanted trout continually nosing in to take the bait, plus the proximity of salmon.
