No fishing. After 20 mm rain the Honddu stream went very murky en after mixing whole Usk at Dinas was as murky with less than 10 inch visibility.
We’d like to change our permits for another upstream beat iUsk is still clear on monday.

Weather partly cloudy with a very light breeze, turning cloudy and still on the afternoon. River at the lowest level I've ever seen it, hardly any flow at all.
All fish taken on a klinkhammer, sizes between 6 - 12 inches.

A couple of dace caught on the fly, and a few trout seen but couldnt interest them. Also accidentally hooked 3 shad whilst swinging a wet fly over the course of the day, which were swiftly returned safely.
