No fish! Two fairly inexperienced fly anglers fishing in fast, brown water was not the great ticket to success. We'll have to try again another day.

Fly fishing Llyn Coedty, no catch

Checked the river was running clear before booking due to thunder storms in the area. Did the first 25 yards and caught a fin perfect fish from a little riffle. Was just starting to really enjoy myself and the river turned brown. Shame it couldn't have held off for an hour!

River level still quite low. No fish of any great size moving. Best up to half pound. All three on GHPTN.Great structure to this
section of the Usk. Surprised to see a large otter hunting in the river mid afternoon, not worried as i stood watching. He drew a blank as I had up until that point. Live and let live eh?

River low and clear Fished stick float with meat and feeder with pellet we had a fantastic day had my first barbel on the float . Will return soon
