This is a very nice stretch of river, consisting mainly of shallow glides and pools, some quite deep. Caught four brownies, one of which was about 10oz, the others about 4oz. All taken on a dry (klinkhammer).

Slow around midday picked up between 1.30 and 3pm 4 fish caught in quick succession. Good condition fish, weights between 1.8 kg and 1kg. Some noise disturbance from 2 parties of Canoeists

Blazing sun all day. One fish on Griffith Gnat and one lost on swap nymph. Lots of Black Gnat and Olives hatching but few rising. Four lads swimming in Bridge Pool scuppered the day!

We just fished with dry flies and emergers. Lots of various flies in the air and rising fish. We found it difficult fishing and to get the trout to rise to our flies. Careful presentation and a good evening rise helped. Best fish 14''. Best flies - H/E Klink, Adams, Sedges.

River low & clear and wall to wall sunshine. Plenty of risers but found them very hard to tempt . had 1 x 15" and bumped another.
Quite a lot of dogs in the river, people having picnics, swimming etc but to be expected given the weather.
