Despite the rain we caught some lovely trout. Biggest one was 16" which was caught in the 'junction' pool.

two of us, one barbel and five chub.
The bailiff Stefan could not have been more helpful, he helped carry our tackle showed us to a double swim and even gave us some pva pre-tied bags of pellets !!
Silkweed currently a big problem

Second day of a two day session. River falling but the fish still feeding. Even better that the first day. Barbel to 9.8 chub to 3.15

Cage feeders used by both anglers.. Steady following river for an enjoyable mornings fishing until the heavy rain forced us to leave.

Barbel were all juveniles except one proper one about 5 lb 3 chub & 3 chublets all on trotted meat.
