Good days fishing in very hot conditions! Both anglers caught our bag limit using a worm for bait.

3 Juveniles and one “proper” wbt. River like gin and extremely low!

Switching between a running leger rig and trotted float using pellets, sweetcorn and meat I had a number of very small Chub - no Barbel.

Scorching hot day, very little breeze and very little flow. Only fished the day couldn't fish into the evening.

Hottest day of the year and clear Skys for most of the day. Tried feeder and float but no luck.

Fished in the woods. Feeder and meat/pellets. Slow going but managed 14 decent chub in the end between my son and me with quite a few over 4lb. Very pleasant day but a barbel or two would have been nice!

Caught and returned 1 Shad and 12 eels. The river was quite low.
Fished using ledgered and float fished luncheon meat.

Weather hot ,river low slow first day no barbel heard rumour they are spawning but chub obliging as always
