No fish today

Very good for the first day absolutely beautiful fishing well worth the £45 one of the best fishing days I have experienced in 25 years

Concentrated on the faster parts of the river, trotting meat. Chub very obliging. Gave up counting after 15. A few barbel spotted flashing and a salmon leaping periodically. Very hot day but a good days fishing.

Lovely stretch as per usual on this wonderful river. Sadly no barbel today but the river was running low and clear and it was super hot. Having said that some great chub sport was had early on fishing from the salmon croy lower down with all fish being returned safely. Once the sun was up it was too hot ????. Lovely stretch and a really nice owner and one I’ll be back to fish

Parking was an issue at this beat, fished 0600-1200, had one good take but got cut off. The other was eels, steep banks are not for the frail, but I managed okay.

Lovely beat, parking right next to the river. A short length but a great fish holding spot. Lots of small Chub and Dace - caught a handful of good sized chub- up to 4lb. Lost a barbel to a hook pull. Quite a few Barbel flashing in the shallows when I left at midday

Just fished the morning today. 5 fish to add to yesterdays 7. Best around 9 in. Again all on a size 16 black klinkhammer
