Not the easiest of beats to fish as quite a lot is inaccessible and the wading is tricky. Below the bridge we were unable to get into the river anywhere. The river appeared to have a dirty/milky tinge to it. 2 brown trout on a Grey Wulff. Also the directions need updating as the Steel Horse Pub no longer appears to exist.

Fishing seemed quite slow, took two fish in a single run and then nothing more for a long while. Grayling taken on Tight Line methods. Trout taken on dry fly in shallow runs.. Lovely section to fish. Thank you.

Even though there had been a rise in water level it was already on the way back down we really need a lot of rain in the catchment and a good wash through - Nothing caught or seen

Absolutely shocking fishing seems it ain't been stocked for months not worth paying price to fish up there will go elsewhere from now on
