6 X trout 6-16 inches, dry flies and spiders for CP of Buckinghamshire. A cloudy day, with just a little colour in the water now from the showers.

River low but tinged with a bit of colour .Trout nicely on the feed

I didn’t catch any fish.

Fish rising sporadically - but we couldn't catch them.

Water coloured but some trout rising, caught 5 on various drys.

A lift of only 4” or so after the weekend thundery weather but the water clarity was good. The catch came from the top of the beat when I briefly put up a trout rod during a sketchy mixed olive hatch mid afternoon. All decent fish of 8-11”.Fished the double hander most of the day.Alas, no evidence of any salmon up here yet.
The local Hostas seem to like the low water though!

Very few rising fish, but I did raise four to a small Grey Wulff running through the riffles.

Rain the night before brought the river up and colored slightly, but was needed. Fishing slow in the morning but a temp rise of a few degrees around 3pm got things going. Plenty of danica and LBD coming off for the next hour, one really solid fish taken on a deer emerger. Bigger insect life petered out followed by an awesome hatch of BWO, fish were totally focused on these for the next couple of hours, another 2-3lb fish landed with multiple smaller fish thrown in. A great day.
