Lovely beat with good access. Bright, hot, sunny day with low levels.

1 Barbel, 8 Chub

Air Temp 29.8 C, took the water temperature on a couple of occasions, read
23.5 C another degree higher & we wouldn’t have fished. Chub rested & recovered well before being released.

Only 2 fished. Barber in the faster water both in the morning. Canoest , getting out lighting fires and swimming directly opposite forced a move.

Fine conditions - all small trout caught predominantly on dries.

3 anglers. Chub coming from method feeder and pellet. Barbel on feeder and long hooklink.

Usual ground baits and pellets mixes.

Another very hot day, it was always going to be difficult.
Fished feeders and boilies for barbel, only managed three small chub and an eel between two anglers.

Lovely stretch of water, have fished previously. Weather was 28*c and clear blue sky. Very tough going. Saw 2 fish rising all day. Will return though as its such a nice beat, worth spending time there.
