Beautiful day on the resovoir today but the wind was absolutely terrible caught 1 trout on the bottom but called it a day at 12 o'clock to windy

Clear skies and bright sunshine all day made for a pleasantly warm day if you could get out of the wind, which was very strong and gusting upriver. There was a small hatch around midday, but no fish rose to them. We think the brightness drove them deeper and all our takes came on weighted nymphs in the deeper pools. Four fit and healthy trout up to about 10" were released.
