Nice to see water levels back up high. caught and released 2 brown trout. only fished for morning .

Heavy weight nymphs. High water.

High and coloured water. Wading too risky. Hardly fished. Nothing caught.
Access very difficult in places. All gates were locked and required climbing over.

River down 5ft from Tuesday and starting to clear. 4 barbel to 9lb 2oz taken on meat.

River still high and still coloured but booked with a guest so had go anyway. A few OOS trout showing an interest in the fly but no offers from any salmon.

Fished as a guest. 3 OOS trout in the gravel catch but no salmon caught or seen

This report is for 2 anglers - CT and AW.
Very Tough day today with 4ft 2 " on the river and dropping when we arrived - we could just about hold bottom a rod length and a half out with 6oz's leads and feeders !

CT - Blanked.
AW - 2 Barbel - biggest was 6lb 10oz

Water dropping and clearing all day. Caught one salmon parr.

River was completely different to September after the recent rain, it was pushing through hard. Found a nice spot, with a 3oz feeder fished not far out, and pellet as hook bait. All fish came morning and late afternoon 7 Barbel, 2 just under 10lb and a single Chub. A great day had on a stunningly beautiful venue.
