Two Small WBT caught on hares ear nymph. Always a challenge this time of year and access difficult due to overgrown vegetation. Still a great beat to fish. Water levels low, but still a few decent pools and riffles. Didn’t see any fish rising today, hence nymphing. Did try a few terrestrials and Adam’s dry to no avail. A few big trees down and across the river making it difficult to navigate.

nothing caught, water height was good colour ok so a god session looked on the cards no joy sorry. Banks could do with a strim

Less water than I expected,but still a great mornings walk/fish.5 trout all to the dry,and a few more lost.

Popped in here from the Edw, very hard fishing changed a lot from the last time I was here bit of a assault course.2 small trout.

Water level was up with some fresh water coming thru , condition felt just right . Managed a nice 6 1/2pb Barbel followed by 5 chub 3 at 3 ,1/2lb and 2 at 5lb moved three times during the day. fished from 7am - 6pm . Lovely stretch has so much water to explore . I’ll be back for some more soon .
