slow going 2 barbel and 2 chub at last light

Really struggled on what is normally a good stretch for me, tried all areas with all methods but couldn't find any feeding barbel, rewarded at around 9pm by a fish I catch regularly there (distinctive by the tumour on its tail)

Early finish due to weather, 1 small barbel and 1 decent chub

Very Pleasant day at this very nice beat and despite being promised rain, we stayed dry and hot all day . Chub small to medium size throughout the day and Barbel moved into the area at lunch time. All between 5 and 7 pounds, with a few that didn't make it to the net. All caught on pellets or meat.

More chub than water, but barbel much harder to find than usual. Path to the bottom swims gets more treacherous on each visit!
