Good days fishing, caught 4x Rainbow Trout & 2x brown Trout on worm, returned brownies back into water safety, also lost 3 fish earlier as got good bites but got snagged in Reservoir and lost tackle, otherwise a good days fishing.

A few rises but difficult fishing. Extremely large bull in the field opposite the weir, which led us to make it way down through the river to the railway. Beware!

Enjoyable day fishing would still like to fish the cove if road repaired

A truly wonderful morning to be on the Usk. Played a good fish just above the bridge which managed to escape capture. Shortly after a small school of fish passed through with a few jumps on their way.. There seems to be plenty of fish at the moment and the river is very fishable.

No fish caught. Heavy tug on salmon fly recorded at 1815 hours mid stream below suspension Bridge
River was running clear and about one foot below optimum level.

Good fly hatch on the sides late afternoon

Bright day, river low. Caught on klinkhammer and nymph. Otter very active
