Very warm day, I saw one decent fish on beat 5 , and had a follow from a large pike on beat 2 nothing else seen, also the river showed no sign of green algae

Great to be back here after not being able to last year, had 19 lovely conditioned Brown Trout between 2 of us. The day was a bit hot & sunny, but with a brisk breeze, & then rain later. Fish caught on a selection of wets, & a few n the usual small dries, Great day & hope to be back soon, the road down is much improved to which is a bonus.

12 inch 390gms brownie. Dry fly at Bottom pool - black fly with blue trim end of morning. Weather dry and warm some fish rising - some Mayfly and black midge type predominant. Went on to rain and dull.

I had a limited time to fish and as there was nothing rising I nymphed the faster pocket water. Had a notable fish of 3lb

No fish caught today. Water perfect. Very sunny and hot.
Saw some Shad making their way upstream.
